Christine’s tribute

My lovely son Harry.

Harry, was always loving, extremely tender and thoughtful person. His sense of others was unequalled. His sense of humour kept us laughing. His eyes, the reflection of the soul, were always sparkling with humour and profound love and generosity. He was not a church goer but he did not have to be because he lived the faith.

His sense of responsibility showed from an early age when he started cooking for a neighbour who was not well, banger and mash. His charm and gentle nature made his visits invaluable. To make it even better, aged 13, he started shopping for vulnerable people and could be seen carrying their shopping along the street.

Harry had an ingrained sense of family and carried his entire turbulent family through very difficult times – he was our core. He was always just, loyal and selfless.

I am his mother and of course for me he has always been perfect, but I know that he was human too and lived his life as such, but he was always aspiring to greater understanding.

You have to be rich to gain paradise and he was very rich.

(Ha trovato grande Felicita quando ha incontrato sua moglie Flavia, aveva davvero trovato la sua partita. Siamo tutti cosi grati a contare Flavia tra di noi, che e il suo dono).

He found great happiness when he met his wife Flavia, he had really found his match. We are all so grateful to count Flavia amongst us, that is his gift.

There is so much to say about Harry but it’s difficult to express it all now, so I leave you to reflect on the life of an exceptional young man, I myself learn more about him every day, and I am so proud.

Harry was, but for me he is, and I will always hear him saying ‘Ah, hello mother!’.

My Harry toots – we all love you so much.
