The first time we met Harry we were on a big group trip to the music festival Sonar in Barcelona.  We must have been late booking our accommodation as Sharon, myself and Harry had a raw deal at the hostel, having to change beds or rooms every morning.   It was all a bit of a comical farce, being kicked out of our rooms half asleep dragging our stuff behind us.   Every time my sister and I got back from the night out, the owner of the hostel would ask us “Where is Harry Chapman!?” of course we had no idea! It was as if somehow he were our responsibility – quite a task at Sonar and him being a typically independent Chapman. Whenever we or the owner caught up with Harry he would look truly confused as though this was the first time he had been asked to move his stuff. But was, as ever, able to take the ridiculous in his stride.
Really I know Harry as Diana’s younger brother, and it was always such a bonus to have him at random parties and birthdays, his sweet nature and unique sense of humour shining through whatever the hour.  And when I think of him now, I see him with his gang of siblings, a dynamic family full of liveliness and endless love.
